Senior Management Perspective

Commitment and Responsibility

We are committed to leading the way in fostering a safety culture within the organization. SAED’s senior management team demonstrates their commitment and accountability by actively prioritizing safety, health, and environmental issues in the best possible manner. They play a leadership role by implementing policies and safeguarding HSE standards throughout the organization. Through the allocation of appropriate budgets, they support the enhancement of training programs, which in turn helps cultivate a strong HSE culture across the organization.

Compliance with the latest legal requirements

The organization is committed to ensure that the existing guidelines have an acceptable level of compliance with the latest scientific achievements for greater effectiveness. The organization knows its duty to easily transfer the content of the existing instructions for more understanding and effectiveness among the employees, as well as to preserve the original nature of the content; This helps the compliance of the main and subcontractors with the requirements.

Reducing the effects of high-risk activities

High-risk activities within the organization are given special attention through multiple layers of control measures. These controls include both proactive and reactive approaches, such as risk assessments, internal and external audits, a safe work permit system, periodic documented inspections, and root cause analysis (RCA) or investigations. By implementing these measures, the organization has effectively reduced and controlled high-risk activities across the site.

Perspective of SAED's senior management

SAED is committed to evaluating and monitoring its performance in accordance with the organization’s overall goals to ensure that these objectives are effectively realized. We are dedicated to achieving an acceptable level of compliance with both national and international laws, while also taking into account human rights and ethical considerations. Furthermore, we have a responsibility to compare our performance against current international requirements and standards to identify our strengths and weaknesses, as well as recognize opportunities and threats. This approach enables us to pursue a sustainable cycle of continuous improvement.

Protection of people, the environment and assets

The primary priority of SAED is preventing harm to people, the environment, and organizational assets. Legal requirements compel SAED to give diligent attention to sustainable development, emphasizing an environmental approach that also considers social needs and expectations. One of SAED’s key tools for achieving these objectives is systematic, periodic, continuous, and well-documented inspections. Additionally, various other tools and resources are employed to support these goals, enabling managers to develop more effective solutions for controlling organizational risks.

Participation and Awareness

To achieve the desired objectives within the occupational health and safety management system—such as maximum participation in HSE-related discussions—this organization has established conditions throughout the project to ensure that all personnel working on the Azar project are aware of the risks they face. The aim is to foster a safety-conscious environment where individuals can create safe conditions for themselves and their colleagues by performing work safely.
