Furthermore, senior management fulfills their leadership role by implementing and maintaining HSE matters throughout the organization, allocating appropriate budget to improve training conditions, and consequently fostering an HSE culture within the organization.

The primary priority of the organization is to prevent harm to individuals, the environment, and organizational assets. Legal requirements compel us to focus on sustainable development with an environmental approach, as well as addressing social needs and expectations. Among the organization's tools for achieving these goals, systematic, continuous, and documented inspections are utilized. However, in order to achieve these objectives, other tools and resources are also employed, enabling management to provide more effective solutions in controlling organizational hazards.

The organization is committed to ensure that the existing guidelines have an acceptable level of compliance with the latest scientific achievements for greater effectiveness. The organization knows its duty to easily transfer the content of the existing instructions for more understanding and effectiveness among the employees, as well as to preserve the original nature of the content; This helps the compliance of the main and subcontractors with the requirements.

In pursuit of achieving the desired goals in the occupational health and safety management system, such as maximum participation of individuals in HSE-related discussions, this organization has created conditions throughout the project to ensure that all individuals employed in the Azar project are aware of the risks they are exposed to and create safe conditions for themselves and their colleagues by working safely. The primary goal of the organization is to implement leadership for effective behavioral change in order to achieve organizational strategies. To this end, the organization has prioritized certain initiatives for its success, which are outlined as follows: 

• Launching campaigns aimed at improving the HSE status of the project.

 • Providing access to data and guidance for personnel to better align with job requirements and perform their assigned tasks more effectively. 

• Increasing awareness and knowledge to enhance the safe behavior of project employees. 

• Availability of HSE specialists for consultancy purposes to improve employee performance. 

• Compliance with the latest legal requirements. The organization is committed to ensuring that existing guidelines achieve an acceptable level of alignment with the latest scientific advancements for greater effectiveness. 

The organization recognizes its duty to facilitate the easy transfer of the content of existing guidelines for better understanding and effectiveness among employees, while also preserving the original essence of the content. This ensures compliance by both primary and subcontractors with the requirements.


Reduction of High-Risk Activity Impacts

High-risk activities within the organization receive special attention with layers of various control measures. These controls include proactive and reactive measures such as risk assessment, internal and external audits, a safe work permit system, regular documented inspections, as well as incident root cause analysis. By implementing these measures, high-risk activities across the site have been reduced and effectively controlled.

• Reduction in the response time to predictable accidents.

Recording 73,786,580 man-hours without any death incidents.

Conducting 124,786 inspections of important activities such as drilling rig visits, crane inspections, scaffolding inspections, etc.

Continuous monitoring of activities that have significantly contributed to the remarkable reduction in the rate and number of incidents.

Recording 58,127 safety observations related to unsafe acts and conditions in the Azar project.

Continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental activities.

Implementing internal HSE frameworks using a set of performance indicators.

Piloting the program with the National Iranian Oil Company in the fields of safety, health, and the environment.

Reviewing and updating all guidelines, operational methods, and plans.
