The Early Production System (EPS) is a rapid deployment program aimed at establishing minimum facilities to commence oil production from Azar Oilfield as quickly as possible, prior to the installation of more detailed, long-term infrastructure. SAED is responsible for the design, construction, installation, commissioning, and operation of these facilities. The MEPS unit receives crude oil via connection from the flow lines and delivers the processed oil at the connection point to the export pipeline headed to the Dehloran facility.
