According to the Public Relations Department of Sarvak Azar Company, the meeting was held at the headquarters of the company and it was attended by Keyvan Yarahmadi, the executor of the Azar project, Nozar Salehi, a member of the board of directors of the Oil Engineering and Development Company, Hamidreza Tavasoli, the CEO of the Sarvak Azar Engineering and Development Company, Behzad Valipour, the CEO of the Azar Field Development Operations Company (AFD), members of the Azar project JMC, and a group of managers and experts.
This meeting was held with the aim of accelerating the project progress and facilitating the operation of the second phase of the development of Azar Oil Field. In addition to reviewing the contractual frameworks and implementation requirements of the plan, a report on the latest status of the upcoming projects and programs was presented to the committee members by AFD.
Among the most important decisions made in this meeting are obtaining permission to extend the contracts of surface and underground exploitation contractors (2026), reviewing and approving the outsourcing strategy for project work packages (Contracting Strategy), and approving the baseline schedule for the second phase of development of Azar Oil Field.
It is worth noting that the meetings of the Joint Management Committee (JMC) is held periodically with the aim of further coordinating between the parties to the contract and monitoring the project implementation process and making major decisions related to advancing the second phase of development of Azar Oil Field.
