According to the Public Relations Department of Sarvak Azar Company, the ceremony to honor the winners of the 15th National Festival of Workers' Health Houses was held in the meeting hall of the Azar Oil Field site, hosted by Sarvak Azar Company, with the presence of the Governor of Mehran County, the Director General of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare of Ilam Province, the Deputy Director of the University of Medical Sciences, and a group of provincial and county managers.
Sarvak Azar Company managed to win two titles namely “The Best Labor Health House in the Province” and “The Best Socially Responsible Employer in the Province in the Field of Addiction Prevention”.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Akbar Darabzad, the deputy director of the site, presented a report on the start of the implementation operations of the second phase of the Azar Oil Field. He emphasized the unique status of human capital in this project and asserted that protecting the health, safety and welfare of employees as the driving force of this national project is the strategic investment of the company to ensure the sustainability of production.
Heydar Nemati, the governor of Mehran County, also considered investment in employee health as the main factor in improving productivity and considered workers' health houses the first line of defense against occupational hazards.
Ali Rashidi, the director general of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare Organization of the province, also appreciated the efforts of Sarvak Azar Company in the field of workforce health and emphasized the support for health-oriented programs at this company.
The ceremony ended with the presentation of the HSE achievements report of the Azar Oil Field and the presentation of a plaque of appreciation to Sarvak Azar Company. The acquisition of these two top titles reflects the continuous efforts of Sarvak Azar Company to improve occupational health indicators and fulfill social responsibilities.
