According to the public relations department of Sarvak Azar, the meeting was attended by Keyvan Yarahmadi, the Executive Officer for the Azar Oilfield Project from the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company; Hamidreza Tavasoli, CEO of Sarvak Azar Engineering and Development Company; members of the JMC; and several managers and experts involved in the project.
At the outset, Yarahmadi highlighted the valuable efforts of the executive team of the Azar Oilfield Development Project amid challenging conditions caused by sanctions and the COVID-19 pandemic. He appreciated the efforts undertaken by Sarvak Azar and provided an update on the progress of the second phase of the Azar development contract. He also presented a report on the latest production and exploitation status to the committee members.
CEO Hamidreza Tavasoli emphasized the importance of the achievements realized in the Azar development program, especially given the obstacles posed by sanctions and the project’s complexities. He noted that Sarvak Azar has been a pioneer in executing such projects and announced the initiation of Phase 2 activities of the Azar Oilfield development under a PAA contract.
The third speaker, Mehdi Baghestani, Director of Planning and Programming at Sarvak Azar, presented an update on the project’s current status and reviewed key issues on the agenda of the JMC. These included methods used for calculating bank and management costs during delays, compressor maintenance costs, operational expenses, and other relevant matters.
Finally, the committee prepared and signed a jointly agreed-upon meeting minutes document, marking the formal record of the discussions and decisions made between the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company and Sarvak Azar Engineering and Development Company.
