The Azar oil site hosted a joint maneuver in October of this year on the subjects of earthquake, gas leak, and emergency evacuation, according to the SARVAK AZAR public relations report.
Some of the most important activities in this maneuver can be mentioned: checking and controlling gas leaks by firefighting teams, emergency evacuation of personnel and attendance at a safe assembly point, Searching and rescuing the injured in half-destroyed buildings using Rescue radar and Anset dogs (preparation and maintenance of sniffer dogs), carrying out the operation of rescuing the injured from a height by the rescue and rescue teams of the fire department, Deploying the province's rescue communications vehicle assuming the possibility of damage to the telecommunications masts, Setting up a crisis management tent for the possibility of responding to emergencies, assuming the existence of potential aftershocks, setting up a triage tent and deploying teams and medical equipment, and deploying an ambulance bus capable of providing simultaneous care to multiple injured individuals.
