According to the Public Relations Department of Sarvak Azar Company, the new company called Azar Field Development Operations Company (AFD) has been established in line with the implementation of the provisions of the IPC contract for the development and production of the second phase of the Azar Joint Oil Field.
With the introduction of AFD and the unveiling of its new visual identity, a new and meaningful step is being taken in the development of the second phase of the Azar Joint Oil Field, a step that reflects the approach based on expertise and a forward-looking outlook and acceptance of challenges within the large family of Sarvak Azar Engineering and Development Company.
AFD has been established as a subsidiary and executive arm for the second phase of Azar Oil Field. The pertaining “assignment agreement” has been drafted and concluded among three companies namely the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), Sarvak Azar Engineering and Development Company, and AFD.
Just as in the development of the first phase of the Azar oil field, Sarvak Azar Company was formed by a consortium of Ahdaf Company and Oil Industries Engineering and Construction Company under a mutual buyback agreement that yielded valuable results, AFD is pursuing the serious mission of developing and operating the second phase of the joint Azar oil field, a mission that requires consciously facing complexities and turning challenges into opportunities for progress. This goal is followed relying on the grace of God and the capable human capital under the management of Behzad Valipour as its CEO.
The concept of the visual identity and logo of AFD is inspired by the concept of “development”, a symbol that represents overcoming challenges and entering sustainable development. This logo, emphasizing dynamism, depicts the nature of AFD's mission as an operational project company.
The choice of this symbol which is in line with the brand strategy of “accepting challenges”, indicates the company's readiness to face technical, operational and executive complexities in the development of the second phase of the Azar Joint Oil Field, a path in which safe, sustainable and value-creating production is the ultimate goal and criterion for assessing its success.
AFD's visual identity is a symbol of commitment to responsibility, boldness in decision-making and continuous movement towards achieving the major goals of the country's oil industry. Establishment of ADF marks the beginning of a new chapter in the company's professional activities.
