Sarvak Azar Ascends Mount Damavand

A group of staff from Sarvak Azar Engineering and Development Company successfully ascended Iran’s highest mountain, Mount Damavand.

According to the company’s public relations department, on July 20, 2025, Behzad Valipour, Manager of Surface Projects, and Pejman Kambiz, Manager of the Surface Engineering Department, reached the summit of Mount Damavand—the highest peak in Iran and West Asia.

This proud achievement was carried out spontaneously over just two days, reflecting the dedication and spirit of the team.

Mount Damavand is situated in the central part of the Alborz mountain range, south of the Caspian Sea. Geographically, it lies within the Larijan district of Amol city in Mazandaran Province. It ranks 12th among the world's highest peaks by relative height. The height of Damavand is recorded as approximately 5,670 meters by the National Geosciences Database of Iran and 5,671 meters according to the NASA Earth Observatory.
