According to SARVAK AZAR’s public relations department, the ascent, which followed last year’s ascent of Mount Damavand, is not only a sporting achievement but also a symbol of the organizational culture and will to face and overcome complex challenges to raise the SARVAK AZAR flag.
It is worth noting that Alamkouh Peak, known as the “Iranian Wall” and the second highest peak in the country, at an altitude of 4,850 meters, was climbed in three hours and thirty minutes. The total time spent for the ascent and descent was six hours and twenty minutes, a significant record compared with the average time of 10 to 12 hours for other groups.
The SARVAK AZAR mountaineering team included Behzad Valipour, the surface projects manager; Kambiz Pejman, the surface engineering manager; and Sina Fadaei, HVAC senior expert. They ascended from the southern side of the peak, known as the Tangeh-e-Galo wing, and the beautiful Hesarchal plain. They recorded one of the most successful sports and cultural programs of the year for SARVAK AZAR.
This climb was organized with the aim of promoting organizational vitality, encouraging the collective spirit of colleagues to engage in sports activities, and increasing physical strength, along with full observance of safety and mountaineering principles.
